LES BENELUXNEWSLETTERTHIRTY FIRST ISSUE - SEPTEMBER 2000
This quarterly newsletter is written specifically for LES Benelux members and others with a professional or business interest in all aspects of technology transfer and the licen-sing of intellectual property. Further copies are available on request. Unless indicated as author's copyright and subject to acknowledgement of the Society, all material may be used freely in other publications. Unless otherwise agreed, acceptance of any submission for publication in this Newsletter is on the understanding that the author also consents to publication in the same or edited form on the LES Europe site at http://www.les-europe.org/. Dear Members, Most of you will by now have returned from holiday and ready for a new and active LES winter season.
The November meeting will be combined with the AGM. We sincerely hope that many of you will use this opportunity to share our plans for the upcoming year and to give us your suggestions and comments. This year we will distribute the documentation for the AGM by e-mail as this will save the Society a considerable amount of money for postage and copying. However, 'hard copies' will still be available on request. Furthermore there are early stage plans to modernize the layout of the LES Benelux Newsletter and to improve the contents, possibly in collaboration with other European LES societies. The Newsletter should offer our members not only the "society-news" but should also provide articles and information regarding Benelux and European licensing and IP issues. Needles to say that input and ideas from all members will be very welcome! On the international level LESI Committee Meetings will be held after the LES USA and Canada Conference in Toronto, Canada from 9 -16 September. All information can be found on the LESI web site (www.lesi.org) and in les Nouvelles. Do not hesitate to contact me or any of the board members in case you need further information. I hope to see many of you in Toronto. Emma van Oosterom
